Overview
Full-service direct response advertising agency, located in the Philadelphia area, is seeking a Business Development Director as a Business Development Director you will be an integral driver of the continued growth in this top-tier direct marketing advertising agency. In this role you will report directly to the agency President and work closely with the CEO, CMO, and account management teams.

Core Responsibilities:
· Identify opportunities and generate qualified leads

· Leverage, nurture, and build relationship specifically focused on developing new accounts

· Develop sales strategies to identify and influence potential clients to generate new business

· Participates in new business presentations

· Prepares and/or directs preparation of new business proposal and RFP responses

· Seamlessly transition new wins to account service team

· Ongoing pipeline forecast and status reporting for agency leadership

Requirements

· 10+ years of adverting agency experience

· A minimum of 5 years in business development

· History of attaining and exceeding sales targets

· In-depth knowledge of direct marketing

· Strong working knowledge of interactive advertising

· Strong closing technique throughout the sales cycle

· Dynamic presentation skills

· Bachelors degree required
