WMMR and Pierre Robert named among 2010 NAB Marconi Radio Award finalists

The National Association of Broadcasters has announced WMMR-FM and legendary station personality Pierre Robert have been named among the finalists for the 2010 NAB Marconi Radio Awards. The Marconi Radio Awards honor radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in broadcasting. The winners will be announced on September 30th at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show held during the 2010 Radio Show presented by RAB and NAB in Washington, DC.MAJOR MARKET PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR CATEGORY:

The 2010 Radio Show, produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), will be held September 29-October 1 in Washington, D.C.
WMMR-FM is owned by Greater Boston Radio, Inc., a subsidiary of Greater Media, Inc., the parent company of 23 AM and FM radio stations in the Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, New Jersey and Philadelphia markets. Greater Media also owns a group of weekly newspapers in central New Jersey as well as several telecommunications towers located throughout the United States.
